Action Cycles is one of Port Elizabeth’s oldest and most established bicycle retail stores, and has been supplying the local cycling community with the world’s most trusted bicycle brands and providing unmatched technical services for over 25 years.
Lighting Innovations Africa was tasked with designing a lighting solution for cycling retail store Action Cycles. The idea was to elevate the brands and revolutionise customers’ shopping experience.
Our lighting design concept encompassed three of our own brands: Aztek Narrow LED batten, Touch Midi track-mounted spotlight and our 3-Circuit Track System. We developed a bespoke concept that ensured the store were not washed with light, but focused on accent lighting with carefully chosen light colour temperatures to provide good contrast. The clean lighting design helps draw attention to the product and enhance the customer experience. Our design includes colour changing LED light settings to achieve red and blue tones.
